Music is an amazing tool. Performed well, it can grab the attention of those who may not know Christ and expose them to the gospel like few preachers or evangelistic programs could ever dream of doing. It has the capability to reach beyond denominational walls and give believers from every walk of life a common ground and an opportunity to come together and worship regardless of denominational differences. In this way we come just a little closer to the heart of Jesus: that we are all common clay and look to be molded by the hand of the Master Potter, Jesus Christ. We are not ashamed to say that we believe music, by its very
nature, can be entertaining. We do not hold to the premise that entertainment is an
evil word. It simply denotes the fact that one enjoys listening to a particular type
of music. With this in mind, we seek to perform music that people will enjoy
listening to, as well as worshipping to. We do not place entertainment over worship;
we just do not exclude it from worship. So, somehow by the grace of God and His anointing
on our gifts, we hope to encourage believers, and through the work of His Spirit to change
lives. |
